We are pleased to announce that, as of May 18, 2026, guests can now enjoy Tenshichi’s tempura in Kita-Kamakura as well.

 

The new restaurant has opened in a traditional Japanese house located about a three-minute walk from Kita-Kamakura Station.

 

Surrounded by fresh young greenery, this is a beautiful season to visit Kita-Kamakura. Please feel free to stop by during your spring stroll through the area.

A Space with Late-Edo Period Charm

A lively main counter where fresh ingredients are fried right before your eyes.

Private rooms are also available for business meals, entertaining guests, and other occasions.

Set in a relocated storehouse from the late Edo period, the space is furnished with antique pieces and designed with a nostalgic, early-modern Japanese elegance.

Surrounded by the quiet atmosphere of Kita-Kamakura and the changing seasons, guests can fully enjoy Tenshichi’s traditional flavors, preserved since its founding.

悠|Yū — A casual course featuring Kamakura vegetables and seasonal tempura.
 

翠|Sui — A refined lunch course for leisurely enjoying the seasonal flavors of Kamakura.



【Dinner】
 

碧|Ao — A tempura course that highlights the seasonal flavors of Kamakura in a simple, elegant style.
 

紫|Yukari — A course featuring Tenshichi’s traditional specialty: conger eel and pickled plum tempura, passed down since the Showa era.

 

凛|Rin — An elevated course featuring Japanese Black Wagyu and seasonal ingredients.
 

禅|Zen — Tenshichi’s premium tempura course, featuring Ise lobster and other luxurious seasonal ingredients in the tranquil setting of Kita-Kamakura.


 

A wide selection of beverages is also available.
